Ferrero Rocher - Fine Hazelnut Chocolates

Little golden foil wrapped orbs of chocolately goodness. mmmmmm

Name: Ferrero Rocher
Company: Rocher

They are located in Sumerset, NJ !!!
Presentation: Round golden tin wrapped balls.

Content? What make this candy special? Hazelnut in the center surrounded by a very fine smooth chocolate.

Texture: Wonderful, the crispy thin shell of chocolate with finely chopped nuts mixed in crunches easily. The hazel nut is not hard on the teeth.

Flavor? Excellent!

Price: $99 for 3 but during the holidays they sell them in larger numbers and different configurations (pyramids, boxes, etc)

Worth it? Yes, my absolute favorite candy.

Category - One bite but some with a more refined sense might use 2 bites.

Rating: I must have more.

Chew-ets Peanut Chews

Name: Chew-ets Peanut Chews
Company: Just Born. Inc - Previously from GoldenBergs
Presentation?: Wrapper is red but not brightly so. Peanut Chews name is yellow and orange faded letters. I give it a middle of the road rating. Nothing memorable

Prize/Give Away/ Sweepstakes? No.

Content? Peanuts, dark chocolate, nougat,

Texture? Chewy and more chewy

Flavor? Brings back memories of eating them. Still hurts my teeth too. Dark chocolate cuts the sweetness.

Price? US .60 from store.

Worth it? Yeah

Category - 5 peices of rectangled bite sized Candy bar like goodness

Rating: I must have more.

Notes: This is a nostalga candy for me Carmel/nuget like substance with peanuts wrapped in a dark chocolate. There is plenty of sugar but you don't get an overly sweet feeling from it. My mom used to bring them home when I was a little kid. The candy is made in Pennsylvania and I Goldbergs was bought by a rival Just Born Inc who makes marshmellow peeps, Mike & Ikes and Hot Tomalies. I don't see this candy at all much outside of the area but now it's a new company, who knows. The competive version of this product wasn't as hard and was milk chocolate. I'm glad they went w/ the old receipie.
